soundsofdrumsAnd so it continues. It's been a while since anything interesting has happened around here, hasn't it been? The Animus aren't exactly on schedule this time around. Now, what's going on this time?

Firstly, my dear Doctor, I suggest keeping your pet on a leash. I'd rather not have to go through the bother of regenerating in this world. I mean. I like this body. I'd like to keep it. So tell him to play nice, will you? As a show of kindness, I'll even try to be nice right back. Can't guarantee anything, but worse comes to worse, he comes back from death a whole lot easier than us.
And, secondly! I found out some...interesting things about my supposed future, at around the time you come from. Sucked into the time lock you created, just in time to burn with the rest of Gallifrey? Some repayment for saving your life! It looks like in the end, you let me die right along with them.
It's okay, though. I don't forgive you--never will--but we've got all the time in the universe for you to make it up to me.

Anyway, it's not just you -- half the city's been going through the filters failing and no one's actually paid attention enough to realize that the damn things aren't working.
