Fire, death, and destruction. Ah, it's just like how my home planet was starting to get. but with far less giant metal pepper shakers and far more....whatever the hell is causing all of this. To be honest, it's difficult to keep track or pay attention. Well! The heroes always come around to inevitably save the day, now, don't they? And that's certainly not me, so I think this is one thing I'm just going to wait out.

I don't much appreciate the damage to my house, however. I liked my little workshop room. It's going to be terribly annoying to properly gather up everything that's stuck under the debris now.

I'm not exactly the type of man that readily offers assistance, nor do any of my particular skillsets even fit anything that could be assissted with, so I'll just wish you all good luck.

Doctor, you are not to leave this house under any circumstances short of a structural collapse. For once, resist your urge to play savior to the universe. I am not going to drag your corpse back here a second time.

Juliet, what is your current status, and do you have Spike looking after you?

[His fingers pause and his voice drops to a murmur.] I trust you.

Do you. [He opens his eyes.] Do you really?

[He thinks that over for a moment, ensuring he has the right answer. His fingers drift to rest at the Master's collarbone.]

Yes. I do.

You're a fool. ...but that is quite nice to hear.

Somehow I just can't see you purposely letting me down. [small smile, and then his attention is back to his fingers, tracing lightly over the Master's jugular.]

...nnnnn. ...No, I suppose that I wouldn't.

And I hope you know I wouldn't let you down purposely either.

[He smiles slightly at the reaction, trailing feather soft touches across his neck.]

Can I unbutton your shirt?

The city's burning around us and you want to get me naked. Well. I won't complain. Go ahead.

[He pouts, touches stopping.] You told me I wasn't allowed to go outside, so I'm distracting myself from all that by just memorizing you. Is that so bad?

No. Do go on.

[He shifts a little, considering the pros and cons of just sitting in the Master's lap. He decides to think about that later, settling instead for loosening the other man's tie and pulling it off. He undoes each button slowly, almost thoughtfully.]

[He just sits there, letting him do as he pleases, curious.]

Would you object to my asking you to lay down?

No. [Honestly, he's just terribly, terribly amused. He lays down, resting his head on the Doctor's lap.]

[He smiles slightly at that, brushing a hand through the Master's hair briefly before opening his shirt and starting to trace his hands down his body.]

[It makes him want to burst out laughing, the fact that he's convinced the Doctor to do this while people are dying outside. But...more so, he's focused on the touches, and happy and content that the Doctor is actually doing this, period.]

I like this regeneration. [His comment is off-handed, attempted casual, though the Doctor is starting to discover his attachment to the other man is more than just emotional.]

So do I. Don't change anytime soon. I love you as is.

[He laughs.] Thank you, but I was talking about you.

[Touches glide down the Master's chest, just feeling and exploring.]

Oh, were you? Why. Thank you, then.

[He just makes a small sound in reply to that, concentrated on the Master's body.]

Mm. ...having fun?

Hm? Oh. Yes, I suppose. [He smiles slightly, gently stroking across the Master's chest.]

Distracting..mm.

I'm distracting or you are? [The Master's somehow just...incredibly intriguing like this. He can't help but thumb over a nipple just to get a reaction.]
