Ah, it's been nice to be back in my own body. Last week wasn't particularly what I would call pleasant, though we've had worse tricks played on us by the Animus. Not that I'm any more pleased with them, of course.

It really is strange to watch seasons pass by sequentially in an Earth fashion. Time Lord and all, I hardly lived my lives in anything close to a linear path through time. How...quaint. A little dull and so slow but I suppose it has a bit of charm to it.

I am looking forward to proper snow. Ooh, we can even build snowmen, have snowball fights, it'll just be like childhood.

Here we are. [He grins back, picking up a sandwich and raising it in a mock toast.]

[He cheers with a sandwich, chuckling before biting into his own.]

[Clearly there's something wrong with the two of them. They are cheering with sandwiches. He laughs and takes a bite as well, reflecting with amusement at how their relationship has changed since he landed here.]

[There's plenty wrong with them. Pleeeeeeeeeenty. This is rather ridiculous, and really, he wants to laugh. He wants to laugh at how ridiculous, silly, and almost insulting it is to be sitting here with the Doctor, cheering with sandwiches, swapping life stories, living together with bloody kittens.

He should punch himself in the face. Both of them, for even daring to consider this life, but instead he finds himself just...oddly content.]

[The Doctor would be very amused to see the Master punch himself in the face. But hey, for the moment he's perfectly happy, so he's not about to do it himself.]

Look at us. [He laughs]

Plenty close enough to it by this point. [He laughs, taking another bite out of his sandwich.]

Mm. I'm surprised you haven't officially proposed yet. [he grins back.]

Obviously, I've yet to find the perfect ring.

[He rolls his eyes, chuckling before laying back down on the bed. This is all so silly, but he does feel happy, so he'll let it go for now.]

I feel like a child again. [He smiles, nudging the Master.]

You always act like one. [He nudges back.]

Ffff. Not true. And if I acted my age I would be very, very boring.

It's true, though that's also true.

[He sticks his tongue out and shoves Master's pillow against his face.]

What-- [He pulls it away before throwing it at the Doctor's head.]

[The Doctor just laughs, tossing the pillow onto the ground and grinning sideways.]
