The Master

I didn't have much of a choice. Thet-- The Doctor would have failed even more spectacularly had he not constantly had me to copy off of. And cheat off of, at that. I was far too charitable.

Why is it that all these people keep making assumptions about us?

It's exactly like that, actually. Master thought it would be fun to insult me across the wall of our house. Not that anyone can read it.

[It temporarily distracts Sokka, too. :| He almost thinks he's being attacked from behind, but when he sees the Doctor has all the grace of a three-legged, blind cat, he turns back to the Master. No longer reaching, but gnashing his teeth, the bitter tribesman glares at his rival.]

[His voice gets low and is wrought with emotion.] The Animus showed me... they showed me what you did, and I looked at the notes in my PCD and it make sense. You may think you covered your tracks, but you know what? I think this isn't the first time I've been right about this! [Riiiight, remember that one time he disappeared a while, lost his PCD, couldn't recall some memories? Well, that experience hasn't left his mind.]

[He remains calm throughout all of this. No need to lose his temper, especially in front of the Doctor right now.]

The Animus showed you? What, did you see a vision of me killing your friend? That hardly counts as proof. Shout at me all you wish, but the simple fact is that you havent the slightest thread of tangible proof as to my supposed guilt. As such, you're being a pestering annoyance. If you'll excuse me, I'm occupied right now.

I have told you of your merits on many occasions, Lord Saxon. And here, here is more proof. Helping to ensure your friend completed his studies is most noble, even if the methods are not entirely honest. I have seen the male cousins attempt this very thing at home, and seen the wincing they do when they attempt to sit, once Father or their tutors have caught them out.

His intended readership is able, is that not so? For the rest of us, it is a beautiful mural. Would that any human writing were so elegantly crafted as that of the Lords of Time.

That - that is half. Knowing half of all you are meant to know is considered passing in your Academy? Your Doctor, books do not suit him? Perhaps he is more like Tybalt. Books did not suit him either, but he is - was - most clever.
