[The Master looks a little awkward on the video screen; nervous, shy, even. Still, there's a small smile on his face. When he speaks, it's rather quiet.

Terribly unlike him, but such are the Animus.]

I reallly do hope that whatever goes on this week, the city remains safe. It's gone through so much already, and people have been hurt enough. Just a little bit of peace would be ever so nice.

Is there anything I can do to help anyone who have been badly affected by the destruction that's happened far too often in the past few weeks?

Private to the Eleventh Doctor // Completely and utterly easily hackable by anyone

[Ok, now he just looks like a very nervous little girl now.]

Ah, I was--I was wondering, Doctor, if perhaps... Well. I mean. I know we haven't gotten along for several centuries. But...um, I mean, well, the two of us got along so well two weeks ago. And I liked it a lot. It made me happier than I've been in a long time. I just--if it's okay with you, of course--wanted to know if you wanted to spend some more time together. I'd like to get to know you, this new regeneration of yours. I do like it.

You tell me Lord Saxon is a psychopath, and then tell me to prefer a madman as the better of the two? No, Lady. I know of whom you speak, and he has done horrible things. Done horrible things to Lord Saxon. And yet my friend reaches out to him again and again, only to be met with scorn. How can he be the better man if that is the case?

I will say it again - do not mock my friend. You do not wish to try a Capulet's temper, Lady.

I would trust that man with the end of the universe. And I have.

But I won't defend him to someone who doesn't understand.

I put the same trust in Lord Saxon that you do in that Doctor about whom he cares so deeply. He has saved my life twice in this place.

I know not of universes ending - I admit I am a simple girl from Verona. But I know what I have experienced here, and I tell you that he is a good man. But, as you say, it is foolish to defend him to one who will not understand, Lady.

Then he's affected your mind.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, Lady Capulet.

[It's funny, 'cuz he hasn't.^^]

You think perhaps of Madara. He was the one who hypnotized the people here. Lord Saxon was one of the people who rescued me from him.

[Further glare. Normally, the name wouldn't bother her - she'd politely correct it.]

Lady Montague. I am a married woman now. Have I finally met someone who does not immediately know of me from this Shakespeare person and his play?

And you never did introduce yourself, Lady. Manners.

I've met Shakespeare, darling.

[Mildly.]

Professor River Song.

Then perhaps if you can act as a proper lady should and refrain from threatening those whom I hold dear, we may speak of how truly he rendered my story.

[The title takes her by surprise.]

Professor? But you are a lady.

Women come a long way, Lady Montague.

I can -- and do -- do whatever I please.

Including threaten people who have done you no harm, it seems.
