009 [video]

I knew that it wouldn't take too long.

[Yes, it's still pouring. Yes, his house is flooding. The Master doesn't give a damn. Why? The Doctor is here now, of course! His own good mood is very obvious. Even if it's going to be harder to plot all his fun evil things and carry them out, especially with the other Time Lord living under the same roof as him now, he doesn't mind all that much. Besides, it's all part of the game, and the game has started again. He needs the game.]

Isn't it nice when you're not the only one of your kind here? It's so inspiring. Things are going to be so much fun.

What kind of abilities? Technology? Science? Magic? Vague sentences? -=and eyeroll. Not all humans are stupid.=-

Regeneration and time travel, among plenty of other fun things. [Maybe, but he still thinks all of them are.]

... Regeneration? Of body parts, right? -=This suddenly interests him. Screw the time travel.=-

Does this only pertain to yourself or to other parties?

Our entire bodies. All Time Lords have this capability.
saintedsinner: (Oh I hadn't thought of that)

[personal profile] saintedsinner 2011-06-25 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
That doesn't sound like regeneration, really. I mean... you can regenerate an entire body spontaneously? Would that work if you were in an explosion? Where do you get the material to regenerate with?

I've never had the pleasure to die in an explosion, but all I can say is that the details are far too complicated to explain.

[A sudden death like that would likely very instantly and permanently kill a Time Lord, but he isn't about to give anyone ideas on how to kill him.]

Well, you can't make something out of nothing. I've yet to truly see matter just appear out of no where. And unless you can spontaneously produce a transmutation so that you have a body...

-=No, one would need time for the alchemy to do it's thing. But in order for that to happen, one needed consciousness to do that. If one's completely destroyed, alchemy couldn't happen....=-

[personal profile] saintedsinner 2011-06-25 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Whatever. I know humans can't transmute without a consciousness and will. And with consciousness, you need a body in order to control the energy flow for matter re-arrangement.

-=And then he eyes the Master. Maybe Gallifreyan or whatever he called it was their term for human. He looks like one.=-

I'm willing to bet that regeneration works much different from this transmutation of yours.
saintedsinner: (Blah blah blah whatever)

If you're speaking true regeneration, you need a body to accellerate cellular growth to produce a new limb, or organ, or whatever. Alchemy also required matter in order to create an object. They're not so different, really. Possibly the method in how they work, but they both follow the law of matter conservation.

I really wish that humans would stop thinking that everything in regards to Time Lords needs to adhere to their own beliefs about the universe and physics.

[Really, regeneration's both terribly simple and terribly complicated at the same time.]
saintedsinner: (o.O you know that shit doesn't make sen)

video - <3 we can BS together.

[personal profile] saintedsinner 2011-06-26 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Our own beliefs? It's the law of the universe. That's how things work.

Haven't you noticed that we're from different universes, by all technicalities?
saintedsinner: (And you say I have issues)

Have you been able to do all of your things that you did back home, here?
