I knew that it wouldn't take too long.

[Yes, it's still pouring. Yes, his house is flooding. The Master doesn't give a damn. Why? The Doctor is here now, of course! His own good mood is very obvious. Even if it's going to be harder to plot all his fun evil things and carry them out, especially with the other Time Lord living under the same roof as him now, he doesn't mind all that much. Besides, it's all part of the game, and the game has started again. He needs the game.]

Isn't it nice when you're not the only one of your kind here? It's so inspiring. Things are going to be so much fun.

[She thinks back on the recent arrivals.]

Which of the gentleman is he, Lord Saxon? The man who has stayed foolishly out in the wastes? The one who fell into the lake? The one looking for an odd box? Or another I have missed whilst keeping house?

Oh! And I have found a tutor. Ray has promised to teach me to swim once the waters calm themselves. He claims it is too dangerous with conditions as they are now. So you needn't worry on that count.

The one looking for the odd box, yes. The Doctor.

Lovely to hear!

The Doctor. Of what is he a doctor, Lord Saxon? He seemed most worried about the box - does he keep some sort of pet inside it, like a cat in a basket?

[She smiles, pleased that he approves of her efforts.]

He's a doctor of pretty much everything, so he likes to say. The one who heals people. As for the box, let's just say that there's much more to it than meets the eye.

And yet he will not yield to your attempts to heal your friendship. I hope that here, he may prove more reasonable. He seemed friendly when we spoke through the little machines. Perhaps his attitude has changed.

[That was an odd thing to say about a box, but she lets it pass for the moment. Perhaps it holds some cultural significance to them both.]

He's quite stubborn. [Smirk.] But things have changed ever since the last time we met. I'm certain things are going to be much more...fruitful here.

Then although he is from your Gallifrey, he shares a trait most human men do. Men can be quite stubborn, in my experience.

[Another warm smile.]

I am glad for you, Lord Saxon. A nobleman such as yourself should be able to prosper and to enjoy the friendship of his fellow - countryman? Would that be a proper term?

Perhaps. Gallifrey doesn't have "countries" as your Earth does.

Well, 'planetman' sounds silly. Your fellow Time Lord? Would that better suit?

That sounds just fine.
